Concrete floor with tiled surface

For concrete floors, the shower base is let into the concrete screed. When the pipe work has been installed the shower base can be bedded down to sit level with the existing floor. The final floor covering can then be applied (vinyl or tiled)

Timber floor with vinyl covering

         The minimal 22mm thickness of this pre-formed shower base is ideal for most timber floors. To fit the base the floor boards are removed. When the drainage and the pipe work have been installed the base can be permanently fixed to the joists. The remaining floor must finish level with the Aqua-Dec's edges in preparation for the floor covering.
